COAL  HARBOUR, Vancouver’s most desirable  oceanfront community stretches from  the cool forests of Stanley Park to Canada Place. It is known for the elegant aesthetic of its buildings, miles of pathways, marinas and parklands. Cozy cafes and gourmet restaurants abound. Most of all there are incomparable, spectacular views of the sea and north shore mountains .

It was designed to contain only eight condominium towers located directly on the waterfront. The AVILA was the first of them along with The Bauhinia, her younger and somewhat taller, sister.

All the names, chosen by the developer ASPAC, are derived from European cities. Ours is a Spanish fortress, birthplace of St. Theresa. However, it is not the saint but the shape of building the name refers to: a tower. It is over 20 floors high with some 90 apartments and townhouses. All constructed with unsurpassed attention to detail and quality.

The same applies to the recreation area, which we share with Bauhinia along with a serene, beautiful inner courtyard.

The rec centre consists of a 25m long indoor pool with dry and steam saunas and whirlpool , state of the art gymnasium, squash court, theatre and conference room. The décor of common spaces is in tasteful, modernized art deco style. Ageless and easy on the eye.

Whoever chooses the AVILA as their home will not be disappointed.
